This bright and airy session at the Milner’s Temple, TX home was easy and fun! Alyssa, her husband Craig, and her daughter Caroline welcomed baby Jack into their home with full hearts. Since babies change so quickly, Alyssa knew she wanted to take newborn photos so she could look back at this stage and cherish the moments she had with her sweet baby Jack. Alyssa has loved getting to see her oldest Caroline become a big sister. She explained how special it was to see the two of them together having their photos taken.
Kids can be difficult to photograph at times, but Alyssa said Caroline did great with some cookie bribes and a few giggles from Elle! One of Alyssa’s favorite photos from the session is when Caroline is kissing her daddy and Alyssa is looking down at baby Jack.
I asked Alyssa a few questions about the shoot and getting newborn photos done and these were her responses–
Q: How was the experience taking photos with your newborn?
A: Taking pictures with a newborn was easier than I expected! Elle came in and took over which was so nice to not have to worry about anything! It was quick and she worked really well with our two year old as well.
Q: Why would you suggest getting photos with your newborn to other moms?
A: The newborn stage goes so quickly and can be such a magical blur. The bond between a new baby and its mother is unlike anything else. To be able to relive those days forever in photos is priceless.
Baby Jack is so loved by his mommy, daddy, and big sister!
